Northumberland
Outspoken Training has been working Northumberland County Council 2024

We now work with schools throughout the area, helping to support young people to start and continue cycling as much as possible

Schools Bikeability
We deliver Bikeability Levels 1 and 2 in Northumberland schools. These courses are free for children to attend.
If you’re a school, please use the form below to book and find out next steps. If you’re a parent or carer and your school has already booked, please have a look at the Information for Parents.
For more information about the Bikeability scheme and details of the different levels, please follow the link below.
Individual cycle training & school holiday courses
We occasionally run courses for adults and children on a one-to-one basis helping them to discover the joys of cycling more.
Do get in touch if we don’t have anything listed and we’ll see if we can arrange something. If you’ve missed out on cycle training at your school, we may also be able to run a holiday course.

Can’t find a suitable course?
No worries! Please get in touch and let us know what you need, where and when and we’ll try to make it happen.
What our schools are saying
“The coaches were amazing, very patient with the children. The activities and days were all very organised. The coaches kept me up to date of issues each day. It was a really good course for the children to complete.”
Henshaw CofE Primary School
“Children loved the course and the interaction of the tutors who were very professional and polite.”
Bedlington Station Primary School

Meet some of our Northumberland instructors
Our Northumberland instructors love working with both children and adults and come from a range of backgrounds. They share a love of cycling and an enthusiasm for passing on these valuable life skills.
“Excellent trainers who engaged with the staff as well as the pupils on the course. The children enjoyed their training. We were most impressed with the individual motivational comments written on the back of each child’s certificate” New Delaval Primary School
