Northamptonshire
Outspoken Training has been working in partnership with both North and West Northamptonshire Councils since 2013

We now work with over 100 schools across the two local authorities, helping to support young people to start and continue cycling as much as possible

Schools Bikeability
We deliver Bikeability Levels 1, 2 and 3 as well as learn to ride and Bikeability Balance in Northamptonshire schools. These courses are 100% funded by Active Travel England and free for children to attend.
If you’re a school, please use the form below to book and find out next steps. If you’re a parent or carer and your school has already booked, please have a look at the Information for Parents.
For more information about the Bikeability scheme and details of the different levels, please follow the link below.
Individual cycle training & school holiday courses
We occasionally run courses for adults and children on a one-to-one basis helping them to discover the joys of cycling more.
Do get in touch if we don’t have anything listed and we’ll see if we can arrange something. If you’ve missed out on cycle training at your school, we may also be able to run a holiday course.

Can’t find a suitable course?
No worries! Please get in touch and let us know what you need, where and when and we’ll try to make it happen.
What our schools are saying
“The children absolutely loved the training. All of the instructors were fantastic and gave clear instructions and demos, asked and answered helpful questions, supported the children, gave lots of encouragement and praise. They had a lovely manner with the children.”
East Hunsbury Primary School
“Both the instructors were very helpful ensuring the children did not miss out on the opportunity to participate. The instructors took on board the SEND needs in the class and worked with the children, one member of staff said that they showed great kindness and professionalism. Thank you to both instructors for being so understanding and aware about everything else that was happening in school too.”

Meet some of our Northamptonshire instructors
Our Northamptonshire instructors love working with both children and adults and come from a range of backgrounds. They share a love of cycling and an enthusiasm for passing on these valuable life skills.
“Thank you to the great instructors and the helpful office team. I have seen many cohorts benefit from Bikeability training – it provides children with the opportunity to develop an essential life skill, whilst encouraging a more active lifestyle.”
