Cancellations & Changes Made by the School/Academy |
| Bikeability is funded by Cambridgeshire County Council who access grant funding from Active Travel England. Last minute changes and cancellationsaffect the council’s ability to secure future funding for all local schools and causes other local children to miss out on training. To safeguard against this, Outspoken Training implements the following cancellation of places. These charges will be enforced if the course is cancelled by the school, or if more than 10% of the children included on the register supplied do not attend training, with 5 or fewer working days’ notice.32+ days before the course start date – No charge but may jeopardise your ability to book future training.
15-31 days before the course start date – 50% of the expected course revenue: £14 + VAT per pupil listed on your register (or booking form if a register hasn’t been returned). Fewer than 15 days before the course start date – 100% of the expected course revenue: £28 + VAT per pupil listed on your register (or booking form if a register hasn’t been returned). Changes to course dates will be at the discretion of Outspoken Training. An admin fee of £50 + VAT will be billed for any approved requests to change course dates or timings within 14 days of a course start date. If we cannot accommodate changes before a course leading to it being cancelled, the cancellation charges will be applied. |

| Schools must send home Outspoken Training’s Parental Consent Form. This is to comply with insurance requirements and to enable parents to consent to schools passing on information to Outspoken Training and Cambridgeshire County Council to comply with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). Pupils will not be able to participate in training without an Outspoken Training consent form, which our instructors will collect on the first day.
