Schools Bikeability

We deliver Bikeability Levels 1, 2 and 3 as well as learn to ride and Bikeability Balance in Lincolnshire schools. These courses are 100% funded by Active Travel England and free for children to attend.

If you’re a school, please use the form below to book and find out next steps. If you’re a parent or carer and your school has already booked, please have a look at the Information for Parents.

For more information about the Bikeability scheme and details of the different levels, please follow the link below.

Individual Cycle Training & School holiday courses

We occasionally run courses for adults and children on a one-to-one basis helping them to discover the joys of cycling more.

Do get in touch if we don’t have anything listed and we’ll see if we can arrange something. If you’ve missed out on cycle training at your school, we may also be able to run a holiday course.

What our schools are saying

“The children have absolutely loved the training. They loved working in the groups with their instructors who were extremely friendly, patient, knowledgeable and helpful.”

Ling Moor Primary Academy

“Our instructors we had were outstanding! The way in which the communicated with the children (regardless of any need) was phenomenal. Every child felt safe, included, supported and enjoyed the sessions each day.”

Saxilby CofE Primary

Meet Wayne – one of our Lincolnshire instructors

In 2025, Wayne received his 10 year service award with Outspoken, having been a dedicated member of the team over the past decade.

“When I was made redundant after 27 years working in a factory,  I decided to try  something  completely different, and I had always been a keen cyclist. I really enjoy going to different schools every week and I always remember the children who can’t ride at the start of the session, and by the end of the course they are riding round and don’t want to stop when it is time to go back into school.”
