It was a true honour to mark another major milestone recently as we celebrated two more fantastic instructors reaching their 10-year anniversary: Tony Letts and Gavin Bridge!
Over the past decade, Tony and Gavin have delivered hundreds of Bikeability courses across Northamptonshire, helping thousands of children gain the skills and confidence to ride more confidently. Year after year, we receive nothing but first-class feedback about them from school staff and pupils alike.
Beyond their work in schools, both Gavin and Tony play a vital role as Peer Mentors, generously offering their time and experience to support new instructors starting out in the role.
With this milestone, they join 12 other active members of our team, bringing our total to 14 instructors who have been with us for over 10 years.
The pair were presented with their awards by Rachel and Chris during our team CPD day at Brixworth, surrounded by many of their Northants colleagues. The highlight of the celebration was a wonderfully emotional limerick written and read out by Sam Rock, which brought a few happy tears to her eyes!
A massive thank you to Tony and Gavin for a decade of passion, hard work, and dedication to inspiring young cyclists. Here’s to many more!
