University of Cambridge Cycle Skills Training

Cycle training is one of the best ways to boost your confidence on two wheels. Whether you are getting on a bike for the first time, a rusty rider looking to get back in the saddle or a regular cyclist looking for route specific advice, we provide tailored sessions to suit your individual abilities and goals.

About the Sessions

All our sessions are run as a two-hour one-to one-lesson with a fully qualified National Standard Instructor.

University staff and students are able to claim 1x 2-hour one-to-one session. Participants will be asked to confirm their address when booking which will be cross referenced against the University of Cambridge’s database to check eligibility.

We offer tailored sessions for:

  • New Cyclists – learn to ride

  • Rusty Riders – returning to cycling

  • Residential Riders – boost your confidence cycling on-road

  • Advanced Commuters – route planning and refining skills

  • Specialist Bikers – adaptive cycles, cargo bike, e-bike and riding with a kid in a child seat

What will I need?

A roadworthy bicycle, a helmet (if wearing one) and suitable clothing for the weather conditions.
