University of Cambridge Cycle Skills Training
Cycle training is one of the best ways to boost your confidence on two wheels. Whether you are getting on a bike for the first time, a rusty rider looking to get back in the saddle or a regular cyclist looking for route specific advice, we provide tailored sessions to suit your individual abilities and goals.
About the Sessions
All our sessions are run as a two-hour one-to one-lesson with a fully qualified National Standard Instructor.
University staff and students are able to claim 1x 2-hour one-to-one session. Participants should use their university email address to get in touch when requesting a funded session.

Residential Riders – boost your confidence cycling on-road
Advanced Commuters – route planning and refining skills
Specialist Bikers – adaptive cycles, cargo bike, e-bike and riding with a kid in a child seat
What will I need?
A roadworthy bicycle, a helmet (if wearing one) and suitable clothing for the weather conditions.
