Fix Your Own Bike (FYOB)

Our Fix Your Own Bike sessions are perfect if you have some basic maintenance skills and want to be able to fix or build your own bikes with a professional mechanic on site for the odd tip.
We've opened up our fully equipped training workshop, giving you access to professional workstands and a full array of tools. From allen keys and pumps to frame cutting tools, headset presses and wheel building kit, we’ve got you covered.
We can also provide a wealth of parts and consumables - or bring your own!

Who’s it for?

Anyone with some basic maintenance skills that wants to use a professional workspace complete with specialist tools and a professional mechanic on site. The sessions are particularly good after you've been on one of our training courses and want to get in some more experience on your own bikes.

Anyone looking for extra space to work on their bike, especially in winter when outdoor space might not be available (and you've covered your kitchen floor in oil one too many times!).

We can be flexible with when we open the workshop for you, let us know what works for you and we'll look to get you booked in. After you've paid for membership, you're welcome to book some time with us - book with one of the mechanics directly.

Price & Membership

We offer three levels of annual membership, Bronze, Silver and Gold, with decreasing hourly fees. Members get access to a stand, tools, grease, lube, a library of bike manuals and expert advice from one of our qualified mechanics and of course plenty of coffee. Membership also gives you 10% discount on all workshop supplies, tools and repairs.

Bronze £20, then £8 per hour

Silver £40, then £6 per hour

Gold £75, then £4 per hour

How To Book

To pay for membership or book in for a session, please send us a quick email, give us a call. We require a deposit of a one hour booking to secure a workstand for you for the session and we then charge for how much time you use on the day in 15 minute increments.
