Lincolnshire Sees Benefit Of Refresher Training

Over the past 6 months Outspoken Training has been working alongside Lincolnshire County Council delivering 2-day CPD courses (Continual Professional Development) to their team of National Standard Instructors.

The most recent course (and final one for 2016) took place in Lincoln at the end of November and although the sun shone brightly on both days the Instructors knew it was time for gloves and thermals!

The course offered the Instructors the opportunity to come together with colleagues to share ideas and tips on delivering Level 1 and 2 Bikeability training and of course time to bond and build relationships with their peers. The mixture of theory and practical sessions delivered by Outspoken NSIT trainers was a bespoke CPD course designed to meet the needs of Lincolnshire County Council.

Phil Watt, Bikeability and Cycling Officer at Lincolnshire County Council, said:

"Lincolnshire County Council's Bikeability scheme has worked with Outspoken Training for a number of years to provide us with CPD training sessions. We've always found the training to be of a consistently high and robust standard. This helps our scheme develop and be as professional and consistent as possible.”

During 2016 Outspoken Training have delivered 18 CPD courses resulting in over 150 National Standard Instructors receiving vital training to help maintain high quality standards and consistency when delivering Bikeability training.
