Whether you're looking to train to be a professional mechanic, learn some basic skills or organise a training course for a youth group, we've got a range of courses to suit you. Our on site courses take place in our brand new Park Tool equipped training centre in Cambridge but we also run courses in the community.

Velotech Accredited courses

Our Velotech courses are nationally accredited and recognised by the bicycle association. We run regular courses at our dedicated training workshop in Cambridge which are aimed at professionals or keen individuals wanting to gain experience in all maintenance tasks from wheel building to frame preparation. We also run courses for school and community groups who want to gain an accreditation such as the Bike Bank project.

Weekend Bike Maintenance Courses

Our popular one day courses run at the weekend are the perfect way to get to know your bike better. Run in small groups we offer two levels covering everything from the absolute basics to more advanced skills such as changing cables. Build confidence, save money and have a lot of fun with like-minded people. For more information, visit our basic and intermediate course pages.

Modular Evening Courses (including some Women's only!)

We're now running modular evening courses, so if it's just a specific area of bike maintenance you'd like to learn or you can't commit to a whole weekend day, then this if for you. Some of the courses we offer are specifically women's only so under the careful guidance of Catherine, you'll learn everything you need without any men in the building!

Dr Bike

We run Dr Bike sessions in businesses as these are a great way to reward staff and encourage people to take an interest in their bikes, ensuring it is always working to its best potential. We always bring in an element of teaching into our sessions, giving invaluable tips on ways to look after your bike. If you're an individual and want to persuade your employer to have a Dr Bike at your workplace get in touch.
